PwC SDC - Senior Associate - Management Consulting - Operations Sourcing & Procurement Domain (4-7 yrs)
The incumbent will work with the client procurement teams by supporting the company- s tactical and operational initiatives in the Sourcing & Procurement functions.
Job responsibilities mainly include sourcing and procurement activities- conduct analyses and develop insights, prepare excel models, analyse large sets of data, support category tower lead, raise RFQs, analyse response to RFQs, negotiate with suppliers, ensure procedural adherence including legal and independence requirements, ensure data synchronization and sourcing system integration. The role also requires the individual to ensure service level adherence as well as drive client satisfaction by proactively resolving pain areas for the client through innovative solutions
Candidates should demonstrate substantial experience and / or knowledge in category sourcing (experience in sourcing third party labour, software solutions, travel services and other direct as well as indirect commodities could be an added bonus) in any of the following areas:

MC PwC SDC
Spend Analysis, RFI/RFQ design and execution- including knowledge of procurement processes, contracting and systems.
Industry experience across cost reduction, category management, sourcing direct/ indirect categories, supplier development, supplier risk management, and procure to pay process transformation is desirable.
The incumbent should be able to demonstrate proven and thorough knowledge /success in supporting large teams through the execution of end to end sourcing operations (including people and stakeholder management, processes adherence, and technology change adaptation) by:
- Executing activities and working autonomously with minimal direction,
- Communicating effectively (written and verbal) to various situations and audiences,
- Managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative bench marking and primary and secondary analyses of large and complex data.
Years of Experience:
PwC's MC team currently seeks experienced analysts at multiple levels with experience between 4-7 years. Relevant work experience will be considered during the interviews.
Professional and Educational Background:
Mandatory: Undergraduate with 4-7 years of experience
Past sourcing & procurement experience would be an added plus.
Experience of working with MS Excel, MS Access, Sourcing tools
Travel Requirements: Travel to client locations will not be required.
