1. The Manager/Associate Director is expected to play a key role in originating/ sourcing mandates and coverage of healthcare and pharma sector, supporting transaction teams from collateral preparation to transaction closure
2. He/she is expected to mentor/manage Analyst/Associates in preparation of client pitches, investor marketing collateral like information memorandum and financial models while interacting and maintaining the relationship with clients at senior management level.
Requirement:
- Track record of outstanding academic success from Tier I MBA institutes
- In-depth knowledge of the Pharma and Healthcare sector
- 9-10 years of work experience in Investment Banking (preferably with transaction experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector)
- Top quartile performance in prior roles at his/her previous employment
- Expert understanding of finance, accounting, and valuation methodologies
- Strong team player
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks appropriately
- A high degree of initiative, motivation and attention to detail
- Expert working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage subordinates and work with senior professionals/good interpersonal skills
Work Details:
- The Manager/Associate Director will be a key-part of transaction teams that work on M&A or PE mandates from transaction pitching to closure and act as a bridge between the senior team members (Partner/Director) and sub-ordinates (Analyst/ Associate) while playing a key role in coordinating Investor marketing, due-diligence and definitive documentation stage.
Typical work includes:
- Coverage i.e. regular meetings with healthcare and pharma companies
- Preparation of pitch books, deal books, presentations and reports
- Preparation of information memorandums, financial models and investor marketing documents
- Maintain and build relationships with client senior management teams
- Providing support to Director/ Partners in the marketing of the deal/opportunity to potential investors
- Coordinate the due-diligence process and resolve issues/concerns while liaising with third-party vendors like accounting firms/legal firms
- Actively support Director/Partners in term-sheet negotiation and definitive documentation
