Roles & Responsibilities :
We are looking for experienced professionals for our Automotive Management consulting practice with proven and demonstrated experience in driving transformations with tangible outcomes.
Key responsibilities of the role may include :
1. Project Delivery / Execution :
- Working with senior PwC professionals and/or leading teams to design solutions applicable to client's problem statement and manage delivery of modules, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
- Target and quantify the value of transformation opportunity, work on creating a point of view that can be presented to the C-suite and drive targeted improvement.
2. Business Development :
- Support on business development opportunities, conducting diagnostics and preparation of the proposal documents
3. Automotive Domain Development :
- Contribute to the firm's Automotive practice development initiatives.
- Support in development of assets and methodologies, development of point-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals
Experience :
- Years : 3-12 years of experience across stated areas below
- Ideally experience with Management or Business consulting firms related with Automotive Strategy & Operations consulting.
- Alternatively experience with manufacturing and production plant operations will be preferable or experience in organisation design, human capital consulting, financial transformation, cost reduction, or supply chain and procurement.
- We are looking for candidates with demonstrated experience in delivering tangible improvements in automotive OEM and component companies in India.
Areas of previous experience - across 1 or more of the following :
- Automotive Strategy consulting
- Sales and marketing performance improvement
- Digital transformation
- Manufacturing excellence and production process improvement
- Finance transformation
- Cost reduction across multiple levers in manufacturing e.g. raw material consumption, manpower cost, maintenance cost, spares & consumables cost, and energy & utility cost
- Technology driven interventions for manufacturing, maintenance and quality
- Production planning and inventory optimization / working capital reduction
- Expert with TPM/ Six Sigma/ Lean methodology in manufacturing environment
Supply chain transformation - Demonstrated improvements in 1 or more of the following KPIs from your experience :
- Sales growth
- Cost optimisation
- Financial process agility
- EBIDTA improvement
- Throughput and productivity
- Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Manufacturing Quality - Defect rate, internal rejection, first time right, cost of poor quality
Education : Engineer/ MBA is mandatory; Any certification on any of the above areas would be preferred
Candidate requirements :
- Strong communication skills - written & verbal
- Strong presentation skills and experience of having dealt with CXO level
- Client stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to lead projects across cross-functional teams
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point
- Possess and demonstrate high integrity and credibility as perceived by all those with whom s/he will work
- Strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts and business acumen
- Willing to travel 70-80% in a month and flexible to adopt to a demanding lifestyle
