The incumbent will work with the client and project teams to support global engagements from India in Health Industries Advisory -working with US Healthcare organizations in Payor, Providers, Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences companies, driving strategic and operational initiatives, implementing innovative solutions, measuring results early and often, and ensuring performance meets the desired targets. Within Management consulting - Finance, we help clients transform their finance function by executing strategies to reduce functional and operational complexity through streamlined processes, optimized use of technology, & efficient use of resources to deliver cost effective, high quality services to all stakeholders.
Position Requirements
Knowledge Preferred:
Candidates should demonstrate experience and knowledge in finance and general accounting functions including chart of accounts usage in US Healthcare consulting encompassing the following:
- Ability to identify, classify and categorize transactions according to a healthcare provider's accounts
- Understanding of functional and responsibility concepts of accounting in healthcare providers including record to report and procure to pay processes.
- Ability to synthesize information from chart of accounts apply concepts to create a future design that will support financial reporting and business process requirements.
Skills Preferred:
The incumbent should be able to demonstrate proven and thorough knowledge /success in supporting large teams through the design and implementation of changes to strategy and operations (including people, processes, and technology changes) by:
- Ability to demonstrate strong business and global acumen by bringing US-healthcare business and finance function knowledge, innovation, and a global, cross-cultural mindset
- Bring innovative thinking and years of experience and process knowledge from the Healthcare environment
- Demonstrating strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Ability to create accurate spreadsheets in Excel, Access and presentations in PowerPoint).
- Familiarity in major ERP systems and understanding the value it brings to the clients - for example, Oracle, SAP, Workday, and Infor
- Delivering significant business results that utilize strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and taking individual initiative
- Leading project work streams and working autonomously with minimal direction
- Communicating effectively (written and verbal) in various situations and audiences
Years of Experience:
PwC's MC team currently seeks senior associates with experience greater than 3 years. Relevant work experience will be considered based on the interview process.
Professional and Educational Background: MBA (Finance & Accounting) degree from a premier Business school.
