Position: Director of Technology, Telecom, Entertainment/Media space to work in our Analytics practice. We are looking for experienced leaders with strong analytics and TMT background (and overall professional experience of 12 years) to work in our Analytics Consulting practice in Mumbai with prior experience in analytics in the Technology, Telecom, and Entertainment/Media space to work in our Analytics Consulting practice. Director will be integral part of business analytics teams in India alongside consultants in the U.S., leading teams for high-end analytics consulting engagements, providing business recommendations to project teams, and helping provide leadership to the Analytics Consulting practice. Education: BTech, MTech, Masters in Economics / Statistics/ Mathematics, MBA, PhD. Required skills - 12+ years of experience in the areas of Technology, Telecom, Entertainment/Media Analytics (which should include at least 5 years of TMT Analytics). - Leading analytics work-streams / engagements, experience of having excelled in consulting/analytics environment with a focus on TMT industry. - Expertise in analytics in Technology, telecom or entertainment/media space in the areas (but not limited to) - sales analytics, marketing analytics, churn/attrition/retention analytics, supply chain and inventory optimisation, ad sales effectiveness, digital channels effectiveness, market mix modelling, supply chain, customer analytics, sales &amp; distribution analytics. - Good to have experience in e-commerce, social media &amp; big data analytics, optimization - Experience of having excelled in consulting/analytics environment - Knowledge of advanced analytics/statistical/data mining techniques such as Regression (Linear, Logistic), Cluster Analysis, CART/CHAID - Experience in Data Analytics tools such as SAS, R/Revolution R, SPSS - Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos, Business Objects would be a plus. - Demonstrated contributions in firm and knowledge building activities such as recruitment, staffing, marketing and branding - Actively involved in mentoring and training junior team-members - Capability to build/create a culture of quality, delivery, ownership, and high performance. - Deep commitment to a positive, highly functional and productive work environment. Roles and Responsibilities: This person will be a key leader within the PwC Data Analytics team, who will lead the TMT Industry Vertical, which is one of the fastest growing sectors in the Analytics Consulting space. Managing the TMT vertical will involve the following: - Overseeing a large number of business development efforts and client engagements in the assigned sector specific Analytics practice - Coordinating with the Partner and other key members of the assigned sector specific Analytics leadership team to define and manage practice priorities; with the US/global teams - Interfacing with key stakeholders in the assigned sector specific Industry vertical to address industry problems and generate demand for the Data &amp; Analytics practice - Guiding and overseeing the building of an assigned sector specific Analytics Knowledge Repository - Engaging in demand and resource planning for the practice, and contributing to the recruitment strategy - An additional responsibility would be to provide inputs to and provide SME/analytics support to teams defining/developing applications/intellectual property that would be useful for analytics engagements in the assigned sector specific sector - This leader, in addition to bringing strong assigned sector specific analytics leadership skills, will work collaboratively with other members of the Analytics leadership team to oversee firm development and management activities.
