Looking for an experienced, motivated individual with proven research and analysis skills to join the investment banking team at PwC in Bangalore to lead the research and analysis initiative. What the job entails : - Identifying key macro economic / industry themes within the Industrials sector leading to ideation of transaction ( capital raising and of M&amp;A) opportunities - Understanding growth drivers, assessing market potential and trends across various identified segments by conducting in-depth research - Financial analysis of company performance, peer benchmarking, etc. - Tracking deal trends - themes, multiples, etc. across sectors - Analysing fast-growing and fundamentally sound publicly traded and privately companies including tracking key developments with the intention of identifying transaction ideas for pursuit - Preparing recommendations on findings / developments and summaries containing actionable recommendations. - Working in close co-ordination with the coverage and execution team members Ideal candidates will have at least 2-3 years of experience in financial research &amp; analysis roles in strategy consulting / research firms, investment banks or trading/brokerage houses. Familiarity with key research databases like CapIQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, etc. is a must.
