Position Title : Associate/Assistant Manager Grade/Level : Associate/Assistant Manager - IT Reporting Manager Title : AD IA LoS : IFS Sub LoS/SBU : Internal Audit Location : Gurgaon Position Type : Permanent Job Summary : - The firm has set up its own internal audit function with an aim to provide assurance to management and other key stakeholders on the effectiveness of the control environment across the business. - The role holder will have the responsibility for assisting the Chief Internal Auditor in developing the Internal Audit strategy, including the plan, approach etc. and executing the Internal Audit plan. Roles & Responsibilities : - Defining and implementing IT audit plans, programs, techniques, checklists and procedures covering all aspects of IT - Evaluating and examining IT processes, policies, procedures and systems to identify risks and mitigating controls. - Leading and independently performing IT audits, including but not limited to Information Technology General Controls Review, Change Management, Application Development, Incident Management, Network Management, and Vulnerability Assessment. - Supporting teams in performing testing of automated application controls. - Based on gaps identified, designing and developing controls which mitigate risks and agree the same with process owners - Documenting work papers (testing and analysis) in Microsoft Excel, reports in Microsoft Word/PowerPoint. - Independently prepare audit reports and discuss the same with the auditee to agree on issues and action plans and thereof. - Following up on the progress of implementation of recommendations for IT Issues and directions with key stakeholders - Contributing significantly towards building strong and effective IT risk awareness and control consciousness within the company - Participate and support the AD in delivering value add services to the business (for IT). Education and Experience : Essential : B.E / B.Tech from a reputed institute with prior experience in IT Internal Audit Desirable : CISA or any other similar professional certification - Similar Industry experience (consulting services) Candidate Specifications : Essential Skills : - Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment - Strong analytical skills and proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment - Willingness to work independently without much upward/downward support. - Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills - Excellent leadership and management skills - Strong business acumen, strategy and cross-industry thought leadership. - Highly motivated and self-starter CV sifting criteria : - Internal Audit experience in IT Audits - 3 to 5 years. - Team leader (managing a team of 2-3 people)
