Position: Analyst / Associate / Assistant Manager (PwC Corporate Finance & Investment Banking (CFIB))

Location: Delhi / Gurgaon

Profile:

PwC CFIB has built a market leading position as a Transaction Advisor on Insolvency mandates, which are currently ongoing under IBC 2016. Given the volume of work in this domain currently and in the pipeline, we are looking to augment this team and are therefore looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, hardworking candidates who possess the necessary skillsets to join this team.

Role and Responsibilities:

The role involves working on all stages of a deal (Buy-side as well as sell-side) and will entail a high degree of client interaction

- Business development/ getting new clients - Identifying potential clients, setting up meetings, preparing pitch books, etc.. This will primarily involve doing research on companies admitted to NCLT and then reaching out to Resolution Professionals with buyer ideas for Transaction Advisory work. Simultaneously, also assist the team in pitching to potential buyers for assisting them in preparation of Resolution Plans

- Deal execution support/ working on live deals - Collateral preparation (Information Memorandum, Teaser), advice on and preparation of process documents (EoI, Evaluation Matrix, RFRP), identifying and contacting potential Resolution Applicants, facilitating due diligence review, evaluation and scoring of Resolution Plans received, negotiation with successful bidder and documentation support.

Key Skills Needed:

- Strong work ethic and commitment to the task at hand

- Ability to manage pressure of multiple engagements

- Very thorough understanding of basic concepts of finance (valuation, modelling, Financial Statements, Financial Ratios, etc.)

- Strong MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint skills

- Strong communication skills both written & oral (for preparing marketing documents, communicating with clients etc.)

- Knowledge of databases (CapIQ, Mergermarket, Bloomberg etc.) is a plus

- Knowledge of Banking / Credit appraisal process is a plus

Qualification and Experience

- Masters In Business Administration (MBA) from Tier I institutes (Pass out from IIM ABCLIK, FMS, XLRI, SP Jain, ISB) / Chartered Accountant with work experience of at least 2 years

- 0 to 3 years experience (2015 to 2018 pass outs)
