The position - Associate Director - Brand Purplle is looking for an established P&L leader as the Brand Lead for its high growth digitally owned brands. The objective is to aggressively grow this high margin digitally native beauty brands. The Brandlead will be responsible for end to end delivery of sales, marketing, new product launches and supply chain owning an independent P&L but with the support of the Purplle back-bone of technology & data/ customer insights engine and supply chain ecosystem. The position is based in Mumbai at Purplle's HQ and will report to the co-founder & CEO. Required experience : - 10+ years of professional experience in leading multinational consumer goods companies, with atleast 3-5 years of owning a full P&L and showing demonstrable growth of the business - Expertise in developing channels of distribution, launching new products, branding & promotional activities, supply chain & supply planning management - Current or past experience in brand management; good understanding of digital marketing is a plus - Candidate should hold an MBA from a top tier B School and should have a superior academic and performance record; Engineering or quantitative under graduation will be a plus - Candidates with tier-1 MNC CPG background (HUL, P&G, J&J, Pepsi, Coke, Kraft, Mondelez) will be a plus Critical skills required for the role : - P&L strategy to drive high growth - channel strategy & relationships, product portfolio & brand management, team leadership - Ability to build distribution for the brand - online & offline channels, distributors, GT/ chemist channels - Excellent proficiency with numbers, analytics and P&L management skills to assess efficiency and ROI - Ability to lead a team - Highly driven, result-oriented and strong work ethics - Long-term minded, trustworthy, transparent - Walk the talk- entrepreneurial mentality, i.e. develop a strategic vision and do what it takes to get things done
