Purchase Manager - Steel/Fabrication (8-10 yrs)
1. Able to Plan and coordinate for Materials by forecasting, Planning and to ensure optimum inventory to support the function.
2. Should have good knowledge of commercials - taxation / excise etc.
3. Negotiate with the supplier and finalize the contract.
4. Timely Creation PO, keeping Track of open PR, Follow-up with suppliers for delivery and expedite the delivery.
5. Developing new vendors / alternatives.
6. Able to maintain agreements as per the process, coordination with internal customers and track SLA.
7. Ability in sourcing of Paints, fasteners, maintenance related purchases, imports procedure, CAPEX purchases, Tools and Dies.
8. Should have knowledge in ISO Quality Systems
9. Knowledge in SAP is highly desirable
10. Ability to organize Logistics Support
