Purchase Manager - Lubricants Firm

Looking for a RM Purchase Manager for our client

Our client is a one of the leading manufacturing MNC organization in the domain of Lubricants. They are looking for an "Purchase Manager" to join them ASAP.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

- Purchase of raw materials like Base Oils, Liquid Chemicals, Additives, Waxes, Solvents etc

- Responsible for Imports, Vendor Management, Storage Planning, Stock planning etc

- Responsible for analysing Spot Buy options and understanding Price Index movements in the global markets

To qualify for these positions you should:

- Have good educational background

- Have 5 to 12 years of exp of purchase with Lubricants, Chemicals or similar industries

- Have good experience in import of Liquid Chemicals or Base Oil, Waxes, Additives, Solvents etc

- Have the ability to strategise purchase based on supply options, weigh term and spot buy options

- Can Track shipments based on consumption patterns to optimize the usage of storage space

- Have handled areas like timely vessel charting, Approvals, LCs, Vendor Payments, Reporting, Claim settlements etc

- Have exp in procurement, inventory control, finalizing orders, all import related activities, etc

- Have good communication, analytical and quick decision making skills.

- Be currently from Mumbai or ready to relocate.
