- Head of Purchase Department

- Understanding of Customs Import and Export

- Negotiation for Import of Raw Material

- Glass Industry Experience Preferred.

- To ensure steady & timely supply of materials at competitive rates and exercise optimum inventory control

- To ensure procurement of required /scheduled goods / materials is as per scheduled time

- Develop a cost effective Vendor data base critical for effective supply of required goods and materials.

- Conduct market study and validate rates of various goods / materials to achieve best rates and feasible payment terms

- Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability

- Verify the requirements from the Project / Sites / factory and plan the procurement of materials for on time delivery

- Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding procurement bids

- Recognize Taxation / Commercial and other Terms critical for procurement of materials at feasible rates and terms.

- Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment and supplies

- Negotiate with vendors / channel partners to bring procurement within the targeted budget.
