Position Description:

- We are seeking a Product Manager (PM) to help drive the growth of different value streams which includes products and experiences in the Restaurant Management Domain. You will shape the vision, strategy and roadmap, using data-driven decision making and customer-oriented focus. You will create omnichannel solutions that work seamlessly across our platform ecosystem.

- You are passionate about understanding user needs and pain point while working with cross-functional partners to simplify complex problems and ship solutions that help our customers be successful. The successful candidate continuously defines priorities and focuses on maximizing the value of product delivery as a leader of an Agile team, liaising between key stakeholders, the business, and technology teams.

- The PM balances all stakeholder and customer needs and is responsible for managing stakeholder expectations, providing transparency and visibility to the team priorities, sprint objectives, and commitments.

- Own and align product backlog to business goals and business value, drafting, refining and prioritizing user stories for the team

- Execute on the vision, strategy and roadmap of the product

- Oversee feature prioritization across the product line and keep initiatives running on time within an agile development environment while clearly articulating rational behind product decisions

- Be scrappy and entrepreneurial; figure out how to get the most value in the shortest amount of time by leveraging lean product management principles

- Dedicated to the Agile delivery team, actively participating in all Scrum related events as the Product Manager, offering business insight and clarification, removing impediments, and making real-time decisions as needed

- Be an expert for the product with an understanding of the product as it is today and a vision for where the product needs go

- Evaluate product feature and user progress throughout iterations and provide real-time feedback to Agile delivery team

- Ability to quickly break down high-level features into digestible user-centric work items that can be delivered in short iterations

- Ability to prioritize effectively, balancing business value with time criticality, opportunity enablement, and risk reduction

- Manage stakeholder expectations, providing clarity and transparency into priorities and commitments

- Proactively lead backlog refinement as needed

- Work with broader product team and other teams to synchronize deliver of large solutions

- Ability to collaborate, build relationships with, and influence across organizations at all levels

- Domain knowledge from Restaurant, Hospitality and Commerce industries is a welcome plus!

What We're Looking For:

- 5-8+ years of experience in developing, shipping and scaling products

- Technical understanding that will enable clear collaboration with engineering teams.

- Excellent understanding of the fast moving, multi-dimensional restaurant technology commerce landscape.

- Proven experience in product ownership in the area of software delivery including writing clear user stories

- Hands on experience with Agile development processes, especially SCRUM

- Effective communicator who is comfortable talking to a wide range of stakeholders from technical staff to executives to understand their needs and distill insights that drive product strategy

- Experience with product planning, project planning, wireframing and/or prototyping tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Product Board)

- Subject matter expert/industry experience in hospitality, restaurant, Point of Sale is a strong plus.
