Puma - Manager - Supply Planning (4-6 yrs)

In this role, you will be responsible for overall inventory planning through efficient and process driven approach to demand and supply planning. You will accomplish this by working closely with retail and wholesale planning, finance, merchandising, sales operations and logistics team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the Rolling Forecast Process for Sales, GP and Inventory

- Ensuring purchasing is in line with demand planning and inventory requirement

- Owning the demand forecast by category and channel level monthly, seasonal and yearly level

- Managing order placement timelines based on actual sales, sales forecast, inventory situation

- Driving stock movement across channel along with stakeholders to ensure maximum usability of inventory

- Working closely with the merchandising teams to ensure the purchasing plan is aligned with the sales plan

- Managing annual inventory plan and will control Inventory turns / Company- wide inventory maximization

- Continuous improvement of above processes using automation

- Planning supply chain capacity and budget end to end for all warehouses of PUMA India

- Monitoring and tracking supply chain performance in line with inventory management plans

- Proactively identify and address issues which might disturb inventory or supply chain plan

- Close co-ordination with retail planning and finance team to ensure efficient dissemination of information

Key Deliverables:

- Targeted inventory turns for the company as well as different sales channels

- Inventory availability by channel, category and product type in line with sales requirement

- Reduction of unusable inventory holding thus increasing share of usable inventory

- Weekly and monthly MIS regarding health of inventory from various aspects

- Rolling inventory overview for current and next year for financial and supply chain planning

- Reduction of risk and flexibility of changing of purchase plan without resulting under or over purchase

- Clarity of OTB consumption and overview of upcoming purchase plan by channel and category

- Supply chain plan for the company - current and rolling next 3 years

- Driving multiple drive short-term and long-term initiatives in parallel

Required qualifications:

- 4-6 years of overall experience with 2+ years- experience in a similar role in retail/FMCG/eCommerce

- Proved track record of successfully delivering results in a dynamic and ambiguous situation

- Strong team management, stakeholder management and co-ordination skill

- Advanced level of knowledge in Excel and SQL

Preferred qualifications:

- Work experience in retail, especially fashion industry (MUST HAVE)

- Experience in managing process improvement and digitalization projects

- On hand knowledge of SAP

- Clear communication and interpersonal skills
