BASIC FUNCTION : To lead the PUMA one8 business as the brand manager and be responsible for every aspect of that category. From Virat management, product delivery, strategizing, campaign ideation to execution of the entire show. To be the one-point contact for all things related to Virat Kohli and the PUMA one8 category. To Liaise with merchandising, sales and other departments to ensure everything happens in tandem. To be responsible for the overall growth of the category/categories assigned. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS : - The position reports to Head of Marketing - Inside PUMA : EEMEA hub managers- approvals on media plans, event details, budget approvals, brand communication, PR, product and retail teams- to be in sync with the marketing campaign and the product drops, with retail and sales in terms of the buys and the campaigns needed. Outside PUMA: Vendors- Media agencies- on media buying and execution; Event companies- on event design and execution; key partners in Sports Marketing. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES : - Drive a particular category in marketing - one8 brand that we have created with Virat - Plan & Organize various campaign to drive this category and support its growth - Be the one point contact for all stakeholders in running of this category - Managing Virat Kohli and his team for the day to day requirement - End to end campaign planning with attention to details - Influencer marketing SUPERVISION RECEIVED : - Budgetary, campaign ideas and communication approvals from Head of Marketing KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS : - Have been responsible for strategizing for campaigns and executing the same - Has the thought process to plan campaigns around product drops - Have worked with lifestyle/ sports brands - Work with agencies - Event, Asset Management, Digital and Creative - Keen sense to evaluate content and its impact - Understands social media - Has worked with Category A celebrities in the past (Bollywood/Cricket) - Strong written and verbal communication - Strong presentation skill - working on PPT and presenting it - Has worked with influencers in the past - has a sense of how that works - Ability to think out of the box and come up with ideas - Has a pulse on the millennial behavior - Has a good mix of creative and analytical bent of mind - Has the ability to see the bigger picture and not myopic in vision - Ability to convince stakeholders with strong ideas - Has the personality to work with a diverse team in a collaborative fashion CRITICAL OF POSITION : The incumbent needs to be competent to handle this position and take complete ownership. It is a very important role within the over all scheme of things Qualification : - 2-5 years of marketing experience
