Puma Energy - Techno Functional Lead & Solution Architect - HRIS Team (8-10 yrs)

Main Purpose

As a Techno-Functional Lead & Solution Architect of our HRIS team, you will play a key role in guiding the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of integrations & functional configurations in Workday. You- ll help to define the long-term (next 12-18 months) and near-term (next quarter) Workday roadmap by working with HR stakeholders to understand needs and priorities, representing what's possible within the constraints of Workday capabilities, and ultimately designing solutions and translating those solutions to requirements and plans for implementation.

With our HR team distributed geographically, you- ll play a crucial role in working with our HR domain leaders (rewards, talent management, recruiting, etc.) to define, understand & simplify the requirements. You- ll be helping to educate, triage problems, and respond to time-sensitive inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

- As an expert, optimize system design and configuration-- understanding and interpreting end-user needs to translate into system requirements, and creating and managing documentation used for end-user adoption and training.

- Design and prototype solutions, present options, lead design workshops

- Organize project plans and manage project deadlines, testing activities, and contracts with other team members to stay on schedule and execute implementations and upgrades.

- Lead the Workday effort in support of annual HR programs such as performance management, merit processes, and staff budgeting exercise, including requirements gathering and documentation, configuration, testing, and implementation.

- Manage HRIS projects, including implementation of new functionality and modules as needed.

- Support development and management of the HRIS roadmap, including maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across HR and the business

- Research and resolve system issues, unexpected results, or process flows, perform scheduled activities, and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

- Keeps current on HR/Workday system trends and process level best practices. Maintain visibility on Workday Community and local User Groups to keep abreast of new features, product defects, and advocate for desired enhancements

- Solution & Manage the integrations- review & identify the gaps in existing integrations, build new integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Payroll Interface, and Studio- etc.

- Provide analytical support to HR teams, Senior Management, Finance, and others to create, prepare, maintain and support a variety of reports.

- Working knowledge on creation of Custom reports - Advanced, Matrix is a must and desirable to have experience Composite & nBox reports.

- Produce the HR reports, dashboards, and scorecards on time and to a high standard of accuracy.

- Design & deploy user-friendly mechanisms for stakeholders to be able to produce informative HR data on a self-service basis

Requirements :

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent

- At least 8-9 years in HRIS domain and minimum 4-5 years in Workday

- Solid experience with HCM, Security & Reporting.

- Experience in Base & Advance Compensation module is a plus.

- Knowledge on Goal & Performance module is desired.

- Working knowledge on Inbound, Outbound EIB's & custom integrations.

- Excellent communication & articulation skills to communicate system aspects to non-system users

- Focus on continuous improvement of HR Systems & Processes

- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills

- Good project management skills/experience

- Familiarity with the agile development process

- Highly organized but adaptable to changing priorities and requirements

- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication

- Process-oriented, and experience with process improvement initiatives (LEAN a plus)

- Proven ability to uphold the highest regard for confidentiality
