Puma - Associate - HR
BASIC FUNCTION : He/She will be responsible for all human resource activities for the Retail vertical of Upper North region (Punjab, Jammu & Himachal Pradesh) and South (Bangalore, AP, Kerala, Tamil Nadu)
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS :
- The role reports to Regional Retail HR
- The role requires to work closely with Area Retail Manager, Regional retail Manager, Regional Training Manager & store teams
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Recruitment
- Responsible for all recruitment at store level of the assigned region
- Maintain calendar for recruitment drives & campus drives
- Innovate to create unique channels of sourcing
- Shortlisting CVs from Naukri, linkedin and other relevant job portals & cold calling for lining up interviews
- Align internal stakeholders for a quick & timely closure of positions, within the defined budgets
- Promote employee referral
- Liaison with government agencies, external consultants & NGOs to build robust hiring pipeline.
- Salary negotiation & offer rollout
- Joining Formalities & Induction
- Documentation & file maintenance of all new joinees and existing employees
- Induction of new joinees & smooth onboarding as per laid out policies and procedures
- Employee Engagement
- Execute engagement at store level as per the calendar launched by HO
- Regular One-One sessions with store employees
- Organize EOSS parties at store level
- Grievance handling & appropriate escalation for timely resolution
- One point contact for all HR related issues/concerns of store staff
- Reward & Recognition
- Execute and Develop new reward and recognition initiatives for store staff
- HR Operations
- Responsible for releasing Appointments letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, experience letter, relieving letter, PIP letter etc. at store level
- Maintain various MIS reports for the assigned regions such as Manpower tracker, Manpower cost tracker, Recruitment cost tracker, Employee master, Salary master, Leave MIS, Attendance master, Insurance Addition & deletions master etc.
- Help employees with right interpretation of HR policies & SOPs
- To support ARMs & ensure that the HR SOPs/policies are being executed
- Responsible for payroll & related MIS of the region
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :
- Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- MS Office Skills
- Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
- Ability to build personal credibility by demonstrating the organizations values
- Building trust with partners in the organization and proactively contributing to organizational success
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE :
- Post Graduate in HR/IR
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience as an HR generalist
