POSITION TITLE- Public Relations Manager

DEPARTMENT- Marketing

LOCATION- Mumbai

REPORTS TO- Director Marketing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO

- Planning PR strategies ,programs and campaigns to achieve significant increases in brand awareness

- Writing and producing presentations and press releases with compelling story angles

- Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations

- Organizing promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits

- Speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences and presentations

- Cultivating relationships with key business journalists in national and trade publications

- Pitch stories to both national and local media. Achieve highest visibility for UBM in print, broadcast, TV and online media outlets

- Providing clients with information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress

- Analysing media coverage; analyze and measure results of PR programs

- Commissioning or undertaking relevant market research

- Liaising with clients, managerial and journalistic staff about budgets, timescales and objectives

- Designing, writing and/or producing presentations, press releases, articles, leaflets, ‘in-house' journals, reports, publicity brochures, information for web sites and promotional videos

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PROFILE REQUIRED

- Post Graduate , formal education in PR is preferred

- Strong written and oral communication.

- Should have alteast 5 years relevant experience in public relations and communications

- Strong network of Media contacts is must.
