Public Relations/Communications Head - Political Consulting Firm (8-12 yrs)
The client is a private political consulting firm, whose founders have worked with strategy bigwigs, charting political strategies for national and regional political parties in India. The founders have previously worked on successful campaigns for regional parties, and are setting up their team leading up to the General Elections.
For this purpose, they are currently looking for 2 candidates to look after the entire PR / Communications (Both Marketing and Corporate) piece for them. Both roles would be based in Gurgaon and look after pan - India strategy, divided into 8 zones. The role would report to the founders directly, and involve working with senior stakeholders in the political arena, as well as working cross -functionally with operations, strategy and marketing teams. The role involves a high degree of hustle as you'll be working with unprecedented scale, reaching out to every corner of the country.
The ideal candidate would:
1. Have 8+ years of experience in PR and communications, ideally in industry PLUS agency
2. Have led teams (at least 3-6 people) in the past and in the current role
3. Have an excellent structural idea of PR and communications strategy for a firm
4. Have above-par presentation and communications skills, as well as excellent negotiation skills
You'll have the opportunity to work with campaigns at a fantastic scale, reaching out to multiple demographics, and the exposure of working with senior stakeholders in corporate and political space.
