- The second line of defence, Risk function within PruGlobal is responsible for effectively advising and challenging key stakeholders, challengingrisks effectively and proactively, and adding value through providing enhanced business insights to supportthe delivery of customers' long-term needs.

- The Risk Oversight role is responsible for implementing and maintaining the PruGlobal Risk Framework, providing advice and guidance on management of enterprise-wide risks across the business, overseeing the aggregated risk profile of the firm across all material risk categories, carrying out forward looking analysis and assessment of material enterprise risks, monitoring changes in current and future risk profiles and production of enterprise wide risk reporting to the relevant Committees and PruGlobal Board.

Overall Job Purpose :

The role reports to the Manager of Enterprise Risk in Prudential Global Services. This role supports the implementation of the risk framework within PruGlobal including but not limited to policy framework, controls attestation, risk reporting, risk assessments, on-going monitoring activity, reporting to senior stakeholders and effectively overseeing enterprise-wide risks across the business areas in PruGlobal.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities :

- To provide guidance and advice, partnering with the business on management of material risks across the business including consideration of risk in business planning process and change initiatives

- To ensure embedding of and compliance with regulatory requirements as well as compliance with risk appetites, management guidelines, standards and policies

- To understand external business standards, sharing best practice and implementing interventions where required

- To implement and maintain the risk framework including reporting

- To produce in depth reports / deep dives, MI packs and risk trending analyses

- To work with the business to ensure the right outcomes for customers

- Work with colleagues across locations within the Risk function and the wider Business to ensure thatPrudential UK and its subsidiaries operate within an effective risk management framework

- Develop good working relationships with Business stakeholders and Staff at functional levels to ensure efficient clearance of issues

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodology across Risk and work flexibly in support ofthe wider Risk agenda

- Compliance - To understand and adhere to Prudential's Code of Conduct and, where appropriate,comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory trainingrequirements

Competence / Knowledge / Skills required

Qualification & Certifications

- MBA specialising in Finance/Risk Management

Experience / Knowledge / Skills required :

- Experience in a Risk/Audit function within a financial institution

- A good understanding of Indian and international regulatory and compliance environments

- Practical and theoretical knowledge of business risk and control frameworks and how these map toevolving regulatory requirements

- Understanding of the policy development and assurance process

- Excellent partnership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to successfully navigate acomplex organisation as well as build strong relationships and work collaboratively with teams across thebusiness

- Ability to operate remotely, in a diverse and multi-cultural environment. International work orconsultancy exposure would be a definite plus

- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Skills :

- Ability to quickly learn and assimilate key processes and procedures

- Ability to analyse business requirements and regulations, highlighting key considerations or newrequirements

- Confidence to challenge appropriately, escalating as required.

- Excellent interpersonal skills - involving liaison across the organisation with key personnel, influencingothers to deliver to deadlines and guiding them on specific requirements

- Good report writing, written and oral communication skills (Face to face and via the telephone or videoconference)

- Ability to manage conflicting objectives and to work to pressured deadlines

- Ability to make quick independent decisions based on logical thought processes

- Good organisation and logistical skills
