Protiviti - Srr Consultant/DM - Internal Audit/Operations/Risk Management - Capital Market

The Firm is seeking to recruit bright and passionate individuals (Senior Consultant, Deputy Manager) who have relevant work experience and skills in Global Investment Banks, Broker-Dealer, Asset Management, Custodians, Stock Exchanges etc. The role will primarily involve executing or managing client engagements in Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance and Advisory domains. The role is based in Mumbai, however will require travel across India and International Locations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understanding the client's requirements and writing clear client proposals that articulate the specialized domain skills.

- Conducting interviews with clients (senior staff - CXOs & heads of business units), analysing the facts, establishing hypotheses, & - deriving conclusions.

- Delivering concise deliverables that are tailored to the client's business, and requirements, in a timely fashion.

- Track all new Regulatory Requirements (NSE, BSE, SEBI etc) in the Capital Markets Industry and assist in developing client solutions to enable the Firm's Go to Market Strategy.

- Independently execute assignments. Typical assignments will include conducting reviews of internal controls, re-engineering processes, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, risk appetite & risk strategy, stress testing, documentation of Standard Operating Procedures etc.

- Establish good relationships with client personnel (at appropriate levels) by understanding client's perspective.

Desired Profile :

- Candidates with 3-6 years Internal Audit/ Operations/ Risk Management experience in Global Investment Banks, Broker-Dealer, Asset Management, Custodians, Stock Exchanges etc

- Experience in above mentioned institutions can be either as employment or as project consultant as part of a Big 4 or reputed Consulting Company.

- Candidates with a sound understanding of the risk management/ business processes/ internal controls/ compliance requirements of a Stock Exchange/ Broker-Dealer will be preferred

- CA (1st attempt preferred) /MBA (from a top tier business school) with a commerce/ risk management background.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications. Prior project management and supervisory skills required.

- Strong internal personnel, analytical skills and management skills.

- Good oral and written communication skills including report writing

- Able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress. Open to travel as per client requirements. Works well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.

- Able to multi-task and travel (India and International) as necessary to meet client needs.
