Role Objective

The Firm is seeking to recruit bright and passionate individuals (Deputy Manager, Senior Consultant) who have relevant work experience and skills in the Treasury processes of a Bank. The role will primarily involve executing or managing client engagements in Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance and Advisory domains. The role is based in Mumbai, however will require travel across India and International Locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Understanding the client's requirements and writing clear client proposals that articulate the specialized domain skills.

- Conducting interviews with clients, analysing the facts, establishing hypotheses, & deriving conclusions.

- Delivering concise deliverables that are tailored to the client's business, and requirements, in a timely fashion.

- Track all new banking related regulatory requirements (RBI etc) and assist in developing client solutions to enable the Firm's Go to Market Strategy.

- Independently execute assignments. Typical assignments will include conducting reviews of internal controls, re-engineering processes, regulatory compliance, operational risk, fraud risk, documentation of Standard Operating Procedures etc.

- Establish good relationships with client personnel (at appropriate levels) by understanding client's perspective.

In addition Deputy Manager candidates will be inducted into the following responsibilities:

- Managing the engagement (staff, time, client) to achieve high-quality deliverables, on time. Manage multiple assignments and related project teams.

- Creating new business opportunities by presenting specific value propositions to clients, or preparing collateral packs

- Coaching and mentoring team members providing technical direction and guidance

- Contributing to conscious efforts that promote the engagement economics and hence the overall Group profitability.

Desired Profile

- Candidates with 3-7 years- experience in Treasury processes of a Bank, preferably in internal audit, operational risk, consulting and/or industry.

- CA (1st attempt preferred) /MBA (from a top tier business school) with a commerce background.

- Good understanding of various Treasury Products such as Forex, Commodity, Equity, Interest Rates across cash, derivative, futures and options market

- Experience in various treasury related processes such as Front Office, Middle Office, Product Control, Back office, accounting, etc.

- Good understanding of various regulatory requirements for Treasury business across various jurisdictions, preferably USA, UK and India.

- Sound understanding of internal control & internal audit methodologies, business process reengineering, operational risk, RBI compliance requirements.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.

- Strong internal personnel, analytical skills and management skills.

- Good oral and written communication skills including report writing

- Able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress. Open to travel as per client requirements. Works well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.

- Able to multi-task and travel (India and International) as necessary to meet client needs.

Preferred Profile

- Experience in Internal Auditing of end to end Treasury Operations in Large Private Sector/ Global Banks

- Experience can include working as part of Internal Audit Dept of Banks / Large Internal Audit & Risk Consulting Firms
