Role Objective

The Firm is seeking to recruit bright and passionate individuals (Consultant, Senior Consultant) who have relevant work experience and skills in the General Insurance Industry. The role will primarily involve executing or managing client engagements in Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance and Advisory domains. The role is based in Mumbai, however will require travel across India and International Locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Understanding the client's requirements and writing clear client proposals that articulate the specialized domain skills.

- Conducting interviews with clients, analysing the facts, establishing hypotheses, & deriving conclusions.

- Delivering concise deliverables that are tailored to the client's business, and requirements, in a timely fashion.

- Track all new general insurance related regulatory requirements (IRDA etc) and assist in developing client solutions to enable the Firm's Go to Market Strategy.

- Independently execute assignments. Typical assignments will include conducting reviews of internal controls, re-engineering processes, regulatory compliance, operational risk, fraud risk, documentation of Standard Operating Procedures etc.

- Establish good relationships with client personnel (at appropriate levels) by understanding client's perspective.

Desired Profile

- Candidates with 1-5 years- experience in General Insurance, preferably in internal audit, operational risk, consulting and/or industry.

- CA (1st attempt preferred) /MBA (from a top tier business school) with a commerce background and strong Banking Industry focus would be preferred.

- Good understanding of Non-Life/ General Insurance business processes, IT systems, risk management, internal controls, IRDA compliance requirements

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.

- Strong internal personnel, analytical skills and management skills.

- Good oral and written communication skills including report writing

- Able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress. Open to travel as per client requirements. Works well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.

- Able to multi-task and travel (India and International) as necessary to meet client needs.
