Proklean Technologies - Vice President - Strategy

ProKlean Technologies Pvt. Ltd, is a green chemicals company into the research and development of a range of natural, non-toxic, non-corrosive and bio-degradable chemical replacement products using its proprietary technology platform. The technology has the potential to disrupt a large part of the chemical surfactants market. The company already has a range of products for Textile, Leather, Paper and Hospitality industries and has top Indian corporates in these industries as established clients and growing interest from other Asian markets. Its leather processing products have already been licensed to its partner in the USA and now being sold globally through Stahl, a leading supplier of leather chemicals globally.

The Company is venture funded by Infuse Ventures (India's leading clean technology focused fund by IIM Ahmedabad's entrepreneurship centre, CIIE) and The Chennai Angels.

Proklean is looking to build a young & energetic team to expand the reach of its revolutionary technology across industries and across the globe. The company iscurrently looking for a dynamic and young candidate to become part of the senior management who could grow into a CXO position in the next few years. This will be a strategy focused role with significant exposure to the external stakeholders both India and globally.

Job Profile:

1. Leading all strategy aspects of the Company and working closely with the CEO in areas like fund-raise, go-to-market strategy, global expansion, new product development, among others.

2. Identifying and implementing long-term business and strategic partnerships for the organization and managing such relationships. These would include Indian and Global MNCs with similar business interests as Proklean

3. Tracking industry trends through interaction with stakeholders, analyzing macro secondary research and thus helping the company develop its future growth plans

4. Managing investor relations and active involvement in fundraise activities

5. Conceptualizing and developing collaterals and pitchbooks for various stakeholders

Desired Experience: 5+ years of professional experience including experience in consulting or investment banking roles would be preferred. However, a similar job profile in a funded startup would also be a good fit. Past experience in a similar industry is not a constraint.

Preference would be for a young and energetic person with the following:

Remuneration: Would not be a constraint for the right candidate, combination of fixed, bonus as well as stock options.
