Projects Head - Chemicals Sector

- To provide leadership for planning, organizing, coordination and successful implementation of projects within the overall specified cost, time, quality and safety standards.

- A proven leader who has managed multiple projects concurrently at various sites and comes with a strong project execution, management and background in the chemicals space.

- Responsible for leading the Greenfield and Brownfield projects. Project Expertise - Low Cost Project set-up along with Process, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Utilities. Selection and standardization of technology, development of project control framework and management of processes, procedures, systems and resources. Leading, mentoring and monitoring teams performance

- Persuade, influence and explore positions and alternatives to reach outcomes that will gain acceptance of all parties to meet organization's business objectives through Projects.

- Leverage interpersonal skills to establish rapport and develop relationships with all key stakeholders

- Responsible for leading the Greenfield and Brownfield projects

- Project Expertise - Low Cost Project set-up along with Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Utilities

- Preparation of Capital Budget proposals for management review and approval

- Preparation of construction schedule and monitoring the activities on daily basis, co-ordination with other departments/consultants

- Review of basic and detailed engineering proposals including plant layouts, production technology and capacity, resource maintenance and storage plans

- Selection and standardization of technology, development of project control framework and management of processes, procedures, systems and resources

- Formulating project Scope, Budget, Schedule, Project execution plans & managing EPC contractor's activities throughout project life cycle and liaison with local governmental authorities

- Tendering, Source identification, Comparing, Negotiating, awarding the Work and Contracts Management and performance guarantee provisions

- Costs and quality controls as per the standard construction practices and ensuring safety practices during construction

- Special NDT (Non-destructive testing) and quality audit of RCC structures

- Corrective Engineering & Preparing Defect identification and solution using CAPA (Corrective & Preventive action)

- Acting as a link with Supply chain, Finance & agencies involved for keeping the show on

- Monitoring the progress of the project against the financial indices / budget

- Leading, mentoring and monitoring teams performance.
