Project Manager - Talent Assessment Solutions (4-5 yrs)

The Project Manager leads multiple projects and, working with the product owner/manager, is accountable for the quality of the results, timely delivery, and the management of scope, schedule, budget, benefits realisation, and stakeholder satisfaction. The manager ensures that projects are planned and executed in a manner consistent with
company strategy, commitments, goals, and standards. The Project Manager reports to a Product Senior

Project Manager or to a Product Program Manager within the Product department.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manages activities associated with projects of varying types and sizes, applying project management principles and techniques tailored to the individual project.

- Utilizes project management tools to track project variables and to provide project reporting and control activities.

- Manages project scope, schedule, and budget in accordance with defined parameters.

- Work with the product manager to provide timely project status reporting and communications.

- Conducts project team and stakeholder meetings, appropriately elevating issues of scope, schedule, cost, and customization to the Product Manager, Senior Project Manager or Program Manager.

- Works with business and product owners and other managers to ensure that the project scope is fully defined, that exclusions from scope are identified, and that business and technical assumptions and constraints are documented.

- Assists with identifying project priorities with input from all stakeholders; develops and documents project plans and schedules, identifying all tasks necessary to bring the project to fruition; assigns realistic start and end dates to each task and oversees the activities of iterative-delivery as appropriate.

- Works closely with the product and technical teams to optimize the project approach.

- Identifies project risks and develops plans to assess, manage, track, report, escalate and mitigate them.

- Identifies skills required to support project activities; works with the appropriate managers to identify resources with appropriate skills for project activities; co-ordinates project resources within a matrix environment.

- Manages the phases of the project lifecycle appropriate to the project and methodology.

- Manages project change control procedures.

- Manage the Go to Market activities for all new assessment products to be launched

- Perform additional tasks as necessary.

Role Qualifications :

- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

- Goal-oriented, self-directed individual.

- Team player with the ability to manage others through teamwork and relationship building skills.

- Ability to work in a fast paced-environment with tight deadlines and multiple project deliverables.

- Quick study with the ability to learn and operate effectively in new environments.

- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Project and Visio.

Education and Experience :

- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience developing project charters, plans, work breakdown structures, sprint, test and release planning.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

- Certified Scrum Master and education and training in Agile methodologies highly desired.

- Project Manager Professional (PMP) or Prince 2 certification highly desired.
