Project Planning :
- Develop project planning and management systems to manage multiple parallel projects
- Create and ensure adherence to the project plan as per APQP/quality gating process for new product
- Monitor project cost and formulate plans to minimize project cost
Managing CFT for new projects (Major change and platforms):
- Create project team (CFT) and identify employees from Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Sourcing
- Ensure "First Time Right" in product development
- Coordinate with Engineering team for product design, process design and quality assurance
- Circulate Status of requirement to tool room, PE, quality & design
- Develop and validate process design with schedule and product benchmarking
- Conduct risk assessment and mitigate them at all steps
Batch trails for product development :
- Coordinate with manufacturing to carry out batch trials
- Submit PPAP reports to customers and gather feedback
- Monitor pilot batch submission to client and take corrective actions in case of deviations
- Rectify SOP and ensure smooth handover and transition to manufacturing to ramp up production - Facilitate between customer and engineering team to modify product based on new norms / new requirements.
Nature of Experience :
- Experience in handling high profile engineering projects (experience in wiring harness is a must).
- Experience in coordinating Cross functional teams and managing parallel projects.
- Experience in process design and execution.
