Project Manager - Solution Delivery/Digital Transformation - Insurance

On behalf of a global insurance company we are looking for a Solution Delivery Manager for a 12 months- contract in India.

Requirements:

- At least 6 years of experience in software/application development, solutions and involvement in IT projects, esp. in digital projects.

- Highly driven and independent.

- Excellent written and communication skills.

- Good teamwork, problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong experience in managing internal stakeholders, end users and vendors.

- Strong solutioning skills particularly with modern technologies and architecture is an advantage.

- Knowledgeable in Web and Mobile application, API, and Database development and architecture knowledge.

- Knowledgeable in Cloud based development and implementation (particularly Azure).

- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

- Certification in PMP will be an added advantage.

- Domain knowledge in Life Insurance industry and/or experience in Life Insurance Systems will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the end to end technical and solution aspects of a given project working with internal stakeholders and vendors.

- Involved from inception through feasibility study, design, development to implementation and post implementation phases of projects.

- Continually researching current and emerging technologies as part of the solutioning process.

- Review project deliverables and functional specs to ensure alignment with business/project objectives.

- Liaise with business users on the project requirements and change requests. Review the changes to application, formulating and defining scope.

- Ensure delivery and solution complies with internal policies, procedures, standards, and audit requirements.

- Collaborate and work closely with project team to ensure processes and documentation are addressed and fulfilled.

- Lead the team and work with the business users in completing the full software development life cycle process.

- Supervises the work quality and deliverables, coaches and guide team member.

- Liaise with vendors on project deliverables, system and software problem/resolution/upgrades.

- Works closely with internal teams to ensure proper interface between backend systems and web applications.
