Project Manager - Smart City

Location: Karnataka/Tier 3 cities-South India

Provides direction and management of all smart city related issues in accordance with contractual obligations.

Responsible for the support of other involved Manager of the project to meet project goals and objectives.

Plan, organize, and supervise the work of the smart city team members to ensure all work in performed within the parameters of the project schedule.

Coordination with the design department to get update on the Smart city Services design Progress.

Update and Liaise with the Project Management and engineering team constantly about changes made in the field to Ensure timely processing of contract change orders.

Have complete knowledge of: drawings, specifications, general contracts and time schedules.

Coordinate with local authorities and third parties related to all necessary smart city requirements for the project.

Field responsibilities may include labour relations and local procurement, etc

Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of the project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.

Initiate risk assessment of smart city project, review and endorse risk assessment results and recommend course of action to ensure mitigation of risks.

Manage the final inspections on completed projects, initiate - Contract Completion Certificates- and - Handover Certificates-

Looking for BE/B.Tech/MBA from Tier 2/3 cities with Core capability & experience in all kind of high valued projects like Pump Station Projects, Waste Water Projects, Electrical Substation Projects, Telecom infrastructure Projects, Sewerage, Drainage, Road, Infrastructure projects. Experience in the construction of large industrial or infrastructural projects is highly preferred, Ability to work & coordinate with municipal organisation, Ability to meet tight Project Submittal Deadlines, Candidate should have exposure in dealing with Govt. Official, Experience in Govt. Project is Mandatory, Experience in project administration, coordinating, planning, execution, monitoring and reporting, Project Manager should have full knowledge of development lifecycle, Good knowledge of IT infrastructure deployments as well as IT system deployments for a distributed state-wide/district-wise implementation
