Responsibilities of a Project Manager _ PMP Certified
Develop project scope, cost estimates, resource requirements, time schedules, communication plans, and make work assignments to meet project objectives.
Follow project management standards to manage projects through the project lifecycle of initiation, planning, execution and closure.
Meet practice level objectives by forecasting requirements including, staff budgets, expenses, product metrics and team performance.
Manage project execution & changes to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
Work closely with the development team to create and execute appropriate project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities.
Develop and follow standards, procedures and guidelines for quality delivery.
Manage and facilitate Daily Standups, Retrospective Meetings and project Planning.
Create and maintain comprehensive project management documentation.
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and present to the delivery manager.
Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies.
Oversee the functional/technical specification and documentation to ensure that the needs of the client are captured prior to commencing new/existing project.
Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client partner.
Manage client escalation at first level and raise to next level appropriately.
Monitor the performance of project team members, provide and document performance feedback.
Coach and mentor project team members on best practices.
Assess current or future customer needs and priorities through communicating directly with customers.
Work with internal & clients teams located overseas in different time zones.
Demonstrate leadership and people management skills and possess strong communication skills, analytical skills and a thorough understanding of software application development lifecycle
Must have a Bachelor's Degree.
Must be PMP certified with good communication skills.
Significant knowledge and experience of the overall best practices of the retail industry.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and in written form.
Thorough knowledge of Project Management principles, concepts and practices.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
PRINCE II certification is a plus
Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with the client and own team members.
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity.
Ability to manage conflict in a matrix managed environment
