Project Manager - Oil & Gas Sector

Qualification & Experience:

- Mechanical (or) Chemical Engineer

- A minimum of 15 years of experience in construction / project management in Oil & Gas Sector

- PMP Certified candidates will be preferred

- Knowledge of Telugu preferred

- Experience in construction of greenfield Oil & Gas terminals / refineries

Key responsibilities shall broadly cover:

- Assist Terminal Manager in all aspects of project management

- Ensure timely and within budget completion of the project

- Construction management of the Refrigerated LPG import terminal at Krishnapatnam Port

- Coordinate with external and internal parties during design, engineering, tendering & procurement.

- Coordinate with suppliers & contractors for order fulfilment, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the Krishnapatnam LPG terminal

- Contract management

- Manage vendor performance by proactively taking required actions

- Coordinate with Krishnapatnam Port Company Limited & other stake holders for site related matters and interfaces required for the terminal and the Liquids Jetty to ensure safe and smooth execution of project

- Work with Central, State statutory authorities and Krishnapatnam Port to ensure compliance of the refrigerated LPG terminal with all applicable procedures and laws.

- Ensure that the highest HSSE standards are met and implemented during design, engineering & construction to ensure compliance of the Krishnapatnam terminal with design codes and HSSE standards.

- Lead all aspects of the project execution i.e. construction, payments, erection, testing, pre-commissioning, licensing & commissioning

- Coordinate with contractors- / supplier's project managers and their upper management to ensure a smooth functioning and timely accomplishment of the objectives.

- Review, manage and verify invoices and progress reports to ensure timely contractor / supplier payments

- Lead regular progress review meetings with contractors / suppliers to track progress and resolve execution issues

- Provide MIS reports to top management to keep them appraised on project progress

- Communicate, monitor and administer compliance with all safety, operating, environmental and business procedures / standards / policies.

- Develop the SOPs in coordination with OEM's and as per best industry practices and ensure their compliance during all phases of project covering project execution & subsequent operations.
