Work profile of Project Manager:
- Design and implement learning needs and resource assessment
- Planning, designing, and budgeting for rolling out capacity development programs
- Create training material, facilitate regular training and capacity building activities
- Ensures close coordination and cooperation with colleagues to achieve synergy and impact across programs and geographic areas of operation
- Provides supervisory support and guidance to the state team and provides relevant support/manage
- Good understanding of program budgets and activity implementation.
Suggested Candidate Profile:
- 2-5 years- experience and understanding of working closely with low income urban and rural communities, thus having a deep familiarity with their requirements.
- Female professional with deep field experience.
- Willingness to travel and spend extensive time in the field in Nagaland and Punjab, minimum 10 days travel per month
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, in both English and Hindi. These will be assessed in the interview. Ideal candidates will have experience working, writing and communicating in Hindi.
- Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner within a relatively unstructured work environment
- Ability to take initiative and leadership and be accountable for the project's progress
- Passion for bringing about real, sustainable, large-scale change for women in India's most marginalized communities
