Project Manager - New Product Development - Water Purifiers

Job Responsibilities :

- Responsible for leading a cross-functional team of product engineering, technical marketing, and manufacturing personnel(in-house/Co-maker) to develop new products for a rapidly expanding market. The Project Manager - NPD will gain exposure to all phases of the product development process from concept to commercialization.

- End to end ownership for driving roadmap from design, to development, procurement, testing, and launching products with distinct competitive advantage

- Generate the project scope statement from the preliminary requirements document in collaboration with product managers and marketing team members.

- Actively manage the project's Critical Path (or Critical Chain) and critical resources and recommend key experiments and/or use simulation and predictive tools to mitigate areas of high potential risk.

- Identifying and managing supplier and vendors for manufacturing and components for quality, competitive sourcing

- Use structured problem solving methodologies and issues flagging to identify root cause and effective corrective counter measures.

- Work with team members to ensure accurate completion of engineering, marketing, and factory deliverables.

- Develop communication documents, milestones presentations, and dashboards for communicating the project status and health to the leadership team.

- Provide leadership in meeting the customer, safety, quality, manufacturing, cost, and regulatory requirements with designs that have sustainable differentiation in the marketplace.

Skills & Experience:

- 5 - 10 years experience in project management and new product development.

- Exposure to procurement and experience in vendor management

- Proven track-record managing technical, multidiscipline projects and schedules required.

- Ownership of Project management of cross-platform project teams a plus, PMP certification would be a plus.

- Extensive knowledge in product design and verification techniques.

- Proficient in Microsoft Project (or similar), PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

- Strong interest in innovative solutions required.
