Project Manager - IT

Roles and responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain information technology/ project management plans which outline project status, milestones, Roadmap and resource allocation.

- The coordinate roll-out of beta and production releases

- Integrate Agile framework - Scrum/ Kanban / Safe implementation with daily stand-up with team

- Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with the project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

- Daily activities: Stand-ups with the team, creating Jira stories/Epics, communication with onshore team on the requirements, getting it done by dev/QC team and delivering results.

- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.

- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.

- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.

- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.

- Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.

- Work directly with content owners and understand the authoritative data sources for data points.

- Leading project planning sessions and ensuring projects meet deadlines

- Managing project documentation.

- Designing risk mitigation and contingency plan.

Requisites:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

- IT Project manager with 6+ years of experience in delivering projects from start to finish (Requirement gathering to production-ready)

- Industry experience in e-commerce or statistical projects

- Hands-on with any project management tool like Jira

- Familiarity with Agile framework - Scrum/ Kanban / Safe

- can drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.

- Has the zeal explore new domains, and especially to understand technology in great depth; Monitors progress while managing multiple parallel projects, anticipating bottlenecks and providing escalation management to ensure that everything from meta to micro stays on track.

- Is able to understand, plan, and manage the cross-team interdependencies for complex systems.
