Project Manager - Interior Designing - Co-Living Startup (3-6 yrs)

- Our client is redefining the future of student living by curating and managing residential and purpose-built student accommodation options. Their web platform is a place thathelps students connect and interact with other students, and find the perfect home and roommate.

- This disruptive startup was founded in the Singapore over a year ago by 2 veterans of the real estate & Hospitality domain who collectively have more than 2 decades of experience and have worked with brands like JLL, KPMG, EY, Marriot etc.

- The company has been backed by marquee VCs including 500 Startups and is on track to a series A funding. They cater to the top end of the student living market and already offer premium student housing facilities for top universities in Asia including National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, and INSEAD Business School.

As the Interior Designing- Project Manager, you will be handling each design project from commencement- making designs till execution- working with contractors to complete it.

What you will do :


- Planning, designing, estimating material requirements and presenting design.

- Coordinating with Interior Designers and engineers for detailing & execution at site.

- Drawing up floor plans and sketches.

- Coordinating FF&E Design issues that arise on site and need immediate attention.

- Ensuring the FF&E integrity of projects and make sure projects are progressing as scheduled in accordance with the Design and Construction Contract Documents.

- Comprehensive reviewing of the FF&E documents (specs, ID drawings, budgets) before issuance to the field.

- Estimating material requirements & costing.

- Responsible for the planning, scheduling, coordinating and construction.

- Coordinating with other services vendors and consultant.

- Responsible for communicating any potential problems or areas of concern back to the consultant Interior Designer.

- Overseeing FF&E punch lists.

- Ensuring quality customer service at every point of contact for internal and external customers.

Candidate Profile :

What you need to have :

- Applies common sense, theory and experience to decision-making;

- Interprets data for discrepancies and trends, and recognizes subtle patterns;

- Identifies key issues or uses inductive reasoning in complex situations.

- Gathers information and differentiates critical from non-critical information;

- Identifies key sources; systematically obtains information through research

- Evaluates different alternatives and selects or recommends the one that best meets the business and professional need of the situation without regard for personal biases

- Minimum 2 years experience in residential Interior Designing/ Project Management

- Extreme attention to detail and no-compromise attitude towards quality

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. 3dsMAX are a plus.

- A good aesthetic sense with experience in design and execution.

- The candidate should have a good exposure of the field.
