Project Manager - Innovation - Retail

- Work with cross functional teams to develop detailed project plans that includes detailed budgets,project timelines, detailed task-driven schedule, project RACI, resourcing and communication plan

- Collaborate across teams to execute projects till closure of handover to business teams; lead or participate in project prioritization meetings with senior leadership every quarter

- Ensure appropriate funds and resources are allocated across the enterprise to support all projects in the pipeline

- Monitor compliance to project management standards, policies, procedures and templates

- Manage regular, effective communication with all stakeholders for projects; report risks and variances to plan and identify areas for corrective actions

- Develop strong partnerships with external stakeholders e.g. start-ups, academic institutions,research firms and networks / communities

- Drive continuous improvement in portfolio reporting (including technology platforms to optimize tracking and reporting) and senior leadership engagement

- Understand business and brand context, and develop an understanding of cross-program portfolio dependencies

- Ensure that stage gate innovation process is followed rigorously through all key milestones ensuring timely completion of all deliverables

- Communicate with and influence business leaders to make sound business decisions and manage risks

- MBA preferred or background/degree in Project Management in consumer / retail industries.

- 8-10 years professional experience working in a business environment.

- 5+ years- experience leading and successfully managing multiple projects and programs experience with stage gate processes.
