Project Manager - Fund Domain - Advisory Business - CA/CFA (4-12 yrs)

Job Requirements:

1. Should be a CA/CFA with at least 4 years of experience in fund domain.

2. Should have through knowledge of Indian Tax laws applicable to funds (AIFs, FPIs etc.), must have a good hand on legal & Regulatory landscape in India. Deep understanding of FPI regulations is a must.

3. Should be able to accurately comprehend, improvise a given transaction & able to execute the same independently.

4. Knowledge of FDI rules & regulations & RBI/FEMA laws is desirable.

5. Should have worked with a large fund house, AMC, or operations of an FPI.

6. Ability to handle different & complex transactions involving intermediation of several partners like law firms, tax firms etc.

7. Should be able to advice clients on their - India entry- including, but not limited to, advising on appropriate structures, jurisdictions, tax regulations etc.

Key Responsibilities:

1. As a Project Manager (PM), advising clients on - turn-key- basis, from concept to licensing.

2. Preparing - Product Memos- (Deal Memo) for each clients, clearly articulating the transaction & how should it be executed.

3. Work closely with the Head of Compliance/Legal & assisting them in the drafting of legal documents, Offer documents, etc.

Others:

1. Should be a go-getter & a taskmaster. Should be willing to work in pressure situations & strict timelines.

2. Should be able to execute the transaction on his/her own, with help from senior members of the team.

3. Should assist the Head of Compliance/Legal in closing more cases & faster delivery of client solution.

4. Should be willing to work in a startup environment, where a lot more onus is on - ownership- .
