The Position :
- To project manage the delivery and implementation of a Finance & Procurement ERP system engaging with the supplier, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure a fit for purpose and value for money solution is achieved.
- To ensure the project is delivered in line within the agreed project variables and tolerances
- To ensure appropriate, effective and proportionate project governance is applied and embedded throughout the project lifecycle
Responsibilities :
- Implementation and delivery of an ERP finance system in line with agreed business case, statutory and governmental requirements.
- To ensure successful delivery of the Finance ERP Project using development methodologies.
- Management of 3rd party supplier relationship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with finance stakeholders ensuring subject matter experts are fully engaged
- Development / maintenance of finance system project plan.
- Manage project risks/issues log in a proactive manner and escalation to the stakeholders as required
- Detailed management of project budget in line with agreed stage payments. Management of assigned resources
- Manage conflicts, ensuring everyone involved is working together effectively.
- Work effectively with the Head of Finance to assist with the identification and management of the behavioral and organizational changes relating to the transformational business change.
- Manage project gaps / design issues and identify appropriate solutions and options for resolution ensuring they are deployed to time, cost and quality
- Engage with all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of project status in line with agreed stakeholder strategy.
- Ensure stakeholders are appraised in timely and efficient manner, with a 'no surprises' approach
Qualifications :
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels and ability to manage stakeholder expectations
- Proven decision making ability and prioritization skills to balance conflicting demands across the project
- Displays proper use of judgment and issue resolution to ensure issues and conflicts are properly handled
- Strong collaboration skills working across team, colleagues at all levels and external providers to reach appropriate solutions identifying issues and problems and resolving them regardless of hierarchy.
- Experience of managing cross functional teams within a project environment
- Possess expertise in driving service delivery using best in class practices and methodologies, with various operating models, systems, processes and policies and experience of working on Agile and SDLC frameworks,
- Experience of managing external supplier delivery teams.
- Displays a probing approach whilst encouraging full and open exchange of ideas and options in search of solutions.
- Drive and resilience to overcome barriers and deliver results
- Be hands-on with program operations covering contractual documentation - SOW, Master Services Agreements, Change Requests Management.
- Be an excellent communicator - should be able to manage stakeholder communication effectively
- written and verbal in global delivery model and associated reporting,
- Possess cross-cultural sensitivity - have the ability to work with people from multiple geographies and cultural backgrounds.
- Have experience in business consulting, preferably with top tier consulting / IT services firms
- Be proficient in Microsoft Project, Power-point, Excel
- Have managed the implementation of a Financial ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics, Open ERP (ODOO) or SageIntacct
- Thorough understanding of risk management and its implications
- Ten years' experience in IT industry, playing the role of PM from last 3 years.
- PMP Certification is desirable
