Project Manager - EPC Projects - Manufacturing Industry (8-12 yrs)

Company Profile: Company is a multi-national firm providing merchandising solutions for retail customer and engaged in manufacturing & servicing of retail displays, shop fittings / fixtures.

Required:

- Mechanical Engineering and MBA in Operations/Project Management.

- At least 8-10 Years of hands-on experience in Project Management lifecycle.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification/ any other relevant certification is a plus.

- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to timely completion.

- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.

- Conversant in MS Office Word, Excel, and Power point.

- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

- Excellent decision-making and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible individually and to lead team of project engineers to successfully deliver projects within defined timelines adhering to quality standards within cost estimates.

- Coordinate with all stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plan to be shared with clients as well as other team members.

- Align cross-discipline internal and external stakeholders to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

- Responsible to manage all phases of project life cycle from requirement gathering to closure and lead team of project engineers, graphics designers, installation & logistics team.

- Responsible for taking decision related to issues in project lifecycle by coordinating with all stakeholders.

- Work closely with various internal teams such as Sales, Engineering, Purchase, Production, Quality, Accounts to ensure effective management of projects.

- Preparing status reports by gathering, analysing, and summarizing relevant information.

- Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and cost.

- Report/escalate to management as needed and manage the relationship with all stakeholders

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

- Track and maintain actual project gross margin of projects in line with estimates

- Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements with reasons.

- Participate in organisation level programs related to R&D, internal cross functional projects, process improvement, cost reduction, change Management.

- Set goals & share regular feedback to develop and mentor team members.

- Development of user manuals, training materials, cost reduction methodologies and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation of the process or system in overall project lifecycle.
