Project Manager - Digital Products - Publishing House (8-18 yrs)

A leading UK based publishing house is looking for:

Position: Project Manager

Experience: 8+ yrs

Location: Noida

Qualification: Graduate- Computer Science/ Engineering

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of Projects.

2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

3. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

4. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and defects.

5. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

6. Manage project budgets and spending.

8. Report and escalate to management as needed.

9. Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

10. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

11. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

1. Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or Engineering.

2. 8-10 years of proven working experience in project management in the information technology and/or education technology sectors.

3. (Preferred) Good technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

4. Prior exposure to QA methods and process.

5. Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Agile methodologies.

6. PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

7. Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

8. Ability to work at varying levels of detail and pressure as required to meet business needs.
