Datacenter- Project Manager

Job Title : Project Manager

Job Summary : Project Manager should take complete ownership of the day to day operations of the Data Center activities. The candidate should have good exposure in various Data Center components such as servers, networking, backup, storage and virtualization. Project Manager should coordinate with the customers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Functions/Responsibilities :

- Day to day support operations of the Data Center

- Development and implementation of detailed operational procedures

- Track, analyze and report the operations with metrics

- Participating in the customer review meetings

- People management

- Ensuring the quality standards are adhered and reviewing it with quality team

- Contributing in the operational improvements, quality procedures and documentations

- Analyze and record the performance of the staffs

- Preparing weekly/monthly reports and sharing it with the management and customer

- Contributing to the RFP's, bid proposals, scope of work reports and other presentations as required for the customer visit

Qualification/Experience :

- BE/BSc/Diploma in Engineering/CS/IT

- Excellent communication skills (Written/Oral)

- 10 to 15 years of total experience (At least 5 years in Data Center and 2 years as Manager)

Skills Required :

- Good experience in networking

- Exposure to Data Center provisioning process

- Experience in Linux and Windows servers.

- Experience in VMware, converged infrastructure and cloud-based solutions

- Exposure to various components of the Data Center such as Security, Networking, Patching, Provisioning and Virtualization

- Well versed with MS-Office tools and report generation

- Ability to handle team of 30+ members

Working Hours : Should be ready to work in 24x7x365 environment.

Travel : Required on need basis

Reporting : Reporting to the Program Manager
