The candidate should possess Engineering Degree in any stream. The person will be accountable for- - Technical evaluation of the projects to identify & eradicate various problems causing hindrance to functioning of projects/ units with respect to Civil and Electrical. - Prepare estimations for new works/ projects to be executed. - Identify the Contractor/ Suppliers for various maintenance works to be executed. - Issue the work order to the contractor/ Suppliers/ Architects. - Liaise with the contractor to ensure that works are completed in stipulated time. - To ensure that work is executed without compromise in quality. - Take joint measurements with the contractor after completion of work. - Check bills submitted by the contractor and forward it for payments. - Calculate the material requirements in cases where material is procured by company. - To ensure that material wastage is within the permissible limits in cases where materials are procured by company. - To liaise with various agencies/ contractors in order to eradicate the problems at the earliest. - To follow up with the Architect regarding various works to be executed. - To prepare various drawings for easy recording of the maintenance schedules. - To ensure that maintenance charts are followed from time to time.
