Project Manager - Capex/Greenfield - FMCG/Paints/Pharma - IIT (1-3 yrs)
- The incumbent should be a B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical from IIT Kharagpur / IIT Kanpur / IIT Delhi / IIT Mumbai / IIT Chennai / IIT Roorkee / IIT Guwahati from 2016 / 2017 / 2018 passout batches. The incumbent should have experience in Greenfield / Brownfield Projects / Maintenance in FMCG / Pharmaceutical / Paints Industry.
The incumbent will be responsible for :
- Project Management - Greenfield
- Induction of vendor to Company processes and tender requirements
- Review of offer documents from integrators and feedback on scope parity
- Detail negotiation strategies & shortlist vendors
- Presentations and notes for internal approvals
- Management of project schedule
- Participation in detailed engineering workshops and review of documents
- Reviews with external stakeholders
- Participation in technology trials
- Monitor project progress and key milestones prior to start of machinery installation
- Project status reporting
- Review of work methods used for installation and testing
- Provide necessary approvals needed onsite for work
- Preparation of project acceptance criterion
- Review and acceptance of machinery protocols
- Management of audit reports and timely closure of observations
- Preparation of benchmarks and standards for consistency of machine performance across sites
- Manage project ramp-up schedule
- Manage handover to operations
- Plan procurement of spares
- Manage preventive maintenance schedule
- Manage AMC contracts with various vendors
- Ensure high availability of system and quick resolution of issues
- Manage cost optimization initiatives
