Project Manager - Agile/Scrum - IT

Job Description:

Project Management and communication has to be very good. Ideally, one who has done the PM role in web development, mobile development, application development, ideally for US clients though not mandatory. The PM will be interacting with US clients on a day-to-day basis. Someone who has started as a Java software developer and then has moved into Project Management. PMP CSM certified would be ideal

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.

- Develop comprehensive project plans.

- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones, project deliverables, quality, budget and client satisfaction.

- Communicate proactively with client and internal teams to ensure a smooth delivery.

- Provide end-to-end technical direction on projects.

- Interact with clients to understand business requirements and apply those to the technology solution.

- Provide leadership and guidance on the latest technologies.

Technical Skills :

- 8-12 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years management experience in the IT field including interactions with end clients.

- Experience handling projects that span multiple locations and teams.

- Proficiency with at least one web development language.

- Experience working on Web and mobile projects.

- Experience in Java technologies a plus.

- Demonstrated ability in leading a team.

- Strong knowledge of software engineering processes/practices - Agile and Scrum

Soft Skills :

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Mentoring and leadership capabilities

Education Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree required in preferably Computer Science or equivalent
