Project Lead - Business Strategy - Bank

Scope of the Role

- Work closely with Senior Management of the bank

- Execution of Strategic priorities for Corporate Banking division catering to MSMEs to large conglomerates.

- Management review of Business plan performance including strategic management & investor updates

Job Description:

- Work with the leadership team on design and deployment of both short-term and long-term strategic business objectives

- Define solutions & strategy for given business problems based on internal and external data and market benchmarking (business problems could be in the nature of: new market entry / new product or segment launch / ramp up of existing business / productivity improvement)

- Define strategic blueprint and key initiatives to be undertaken by bringing key insights and trade-offs to the table

- End to end Program Management of key strategic initiatives identified

- Partner with different functions within the organization - Corporate and Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking, Risk, Credit, Legal, Operations, HR among others in deployment of the business initiatives identified

- Review business portfolio and present insights to senior stakeholders

Required Skills & Abilities:

- 3-4 years Consulting experience (Big 4, McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture etc.) with prior experience in undertaking consulting projects in Banking/BFSI

- Highly organized individual with excellent project management skills.

- Ability to drive change, work cross-functionally in a fast paced environment, prioritize work and meet deadlines.

- Strong business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment

- Creative problem solving skills

- Ability to work with all levels of management and to work in cross functional teams. Good inter-personal skills to achieve consensus and drive business objectives

- Excellent communication and presentation skills -uses Microsoft programs regularly (e.g Power PowerPoint, Excel
