Project Controller - PMO - IT (8-10 yrs)

Project Controller (PMO)


- Participate in Discovery, Scope Definition & Schedule planning

- Create and Track Contractual Agreements & coordinate on Approvals

- Visualize project roadmap and design delivery model (Waterfall / Agile methodology)

- Ensure responsibilities are clearly understood (with RASCI) between relevant stakeholders

- Manage document repository, set-up project in various systems and establish communication channels with stakeholders

- Create/ Review project / sprint plan after taking inputs from all relevant stakeholders

- Track Portfolio(s) and partner with BU Heads for all project related deliverables

- Track progress, schedule & budget for all Portfolios and drive effective communication and escalation management

- Conduct Audit to ensure standard project management best practices are followed across all allocated projects

- Identify Risks, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies, raise alerts and work towards ensuring things are progressing as per schedule

- Facilitate Meetings and provide status / milestone updates

- Own Project Governance related activities including KPIs reporting, Score cards, billing coordination, process audits, etc.

- Contribute towards continuous Process improvement Project Controller (PMO)

- Should have min 8+ years relevant experience in Project Management / Portfolio Management

- Worked in client facing and Employee engagement role

- Should have worked in Enterprise PMO model

- Bachelor's degree. Prefer PG with specialisation in Finance or Business Maths

- Ability to quickly understand and grasp process flows of in-scope activities and assimilate this knowledge to quickly become a subject matter expert

- An effective communicator with excellent relationship building negotiation & interpersonal skills.

- Ability to influence decisions / bring consensus at a strategic level, through logical reasoning-based problem-solving approaches

- Maintains positive and healthy working relationships with support functions, service delivery and senior leadership, and leverages these relationships to secure collaboration and support in execution of project plan.

- Candidate should be fine to work on client specific working hours (generally 2 PM to 11 PM) barring a few project specific exceptions
