Progress Residential - Senior Manager - Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (15-20 yrs)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Responsible for full oversight of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable processes within the Company, ensuring targets are achieved in accordance with company policy.

- Ensure adherence to SOX and Internal controls and always maintains updated process documents.

- Oversee the entire A/P & A/R process and propose improvement ideas/suggestion to gain process efficiency and effectiveness

- Manage performance of staffs and coach/mentor them for raising the bars

- Interface with cross functional teams and senior level management in communicating and resolving issues.

- Coordinate with tax department to manage the Escheatment, 1099 and 1042 reporting requirements.

- Responsible for preparing/presenting monthly reports/KPIs.

- Partner with accounting team to provide/validate information as required for month closing

- Building and maintaining relationships with employees, internal and external stakeholders

- Act as a single point of contact for resolving any dispute

- Manage information requests during the year or year-end audits and respond to requests for information during internal audit

- Other projects as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLSETS :

- MBA degree in Finance

- 15 or more years of A/P / A/R / Accounting experience

- 8 years or more of leadership experience (must have handled team size of 60+ team members)

- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software

- Must have large ERP working experience

- Experience working/partnering on process improvement initiatives

- Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal and external counterparts

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good presentation skills for educating internal counterparts on process developments

- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
