Location : Amravati/Vijayawada, A.P.
Duration of contract : 2.5 years
Responsibilities :
The Lead, IDSD shall be responsible for the following :
i. Practice & Process Improvement :
a. Identifying areas for continuous improvement in systems and processes in the key areas of public service delivery like PDS, NREGS, Pensions, Maternity & Child Health, and Scholarships etc.
b. Scanning best practices internationally and nationally and identifying practices and processes for replication in ITDAs
c. Carrying out independent visits to States and UTs to study the innovations being grounded
d. Preparing process and practice reform documents based on the best practices shortlisted for replication
e. Working with the departmental officials and software vendors to implement the reforms
f. Developing and operationalizing service standards and performance metrics for GSKs
g. Defining process flows; managing& monitoring the design, development and maintenance of the automated application for various processes involved in the management of GSKs
h. Maintain process documentation for the GSKs and other initiatives being grounded under the project
i. Documenting the best practices being implemented
ii. Incubation of Innovative Pilots :
a. Identifying, examine the feasibility of and shortlisting innovative ideas in public service delivery worthy of incubation in the form of pilots, for improving inclusion in the ITDAs.
b. Identifying and working with expert institutions in the Government, Private Sector and academia to design and build prototypes for the pilots
c. Implementing the incubation of the prototype/s in ITDAs
d. Carrying out concurrent monitoring of the implementation of the pilot and feed-in the learnings from the same in the implementation
e. Documenting the pilots
Any other tasks entrusted, as relevant to the implementation of the programme.
Candidate Profile :
Experience : At least 7 years overall experience of which at least the last 5 years should be in action research on/project/scheme implementation in Government/Public/NGO sector
Education : MBA or equivalent from top tier institutions (IIMs, ISB, IITs, XLRI, SPJIMS, IRMA, XIMB etc.) or MCA/Masters in Technology or equivalent from a reputed University/Institution. In exceptional cases, Bachelor's Degree in Technology or equivalent shall also be considered.

iv. Prior experience working with an innovation incubator will be an advantage

viii. Patient and comfortable working in a complex environment
ix. Strong commitment to collaborative work
x. Advanced writing skills in English
xi. Written/Spoken knowledge of Telugu will be an advantage
