Strategic Program Management is a sub-function under Strategy Deployment function and is responsible to drive large, complex, multi-phased Strategic Initiatives that helps to deliver Product/Tech. and Business & Operations Capabilities that are identified as part of Objectives and Key Results process. Strategic Program Management acts as an enabler by playing a critical role in initiation of programs defining, structuring and building a deliverable based plan in leading cross-functional teams to focus on outcomes that has business value meeting strategic objectives. Strategic Program Management function receives very broad guidance from top management and requires a high level of initiative and problem solving ability in a highly ambiguous environment.
You (Must Haves):
- Good business understanding of eCom industry and hands-on experience in driving complex strategic initiatives
- Very strong people skills: ability to influence people, negotiate and be unflustered in crucial conversations
- Strong understanding of program management: get complex things done in an effective way.
- Strong affinity for data based decision making; adept at designing useful measurements
- Ability to thrive in an evolving environment and ability to deal with lack of clarity and vagueness.
Experience:
- 4 to 10 years industry experience in total with some experience in product / technology background in implementing Product & Tech solutions addressing business needs & outcomes.
- Experience in partnering with Senior Leadership & driving Strategic Initiatives
- Must have led large, multi-function programs / initiatives that addressed end customer's pain points / business outcomes directly.
- A very good understanding of Program Management methodologies including hands-on experience in driving various aspect of program management
- Very good understanding of SDLC methodologies, in particular Agile methodologies and a know-how in adapting them
