Program Manager - Sustainable Agriculture (Research, 8-12 yrs, Delhi)

- The job focuses on research in the field of sustainable agriculture - the focus area lies in doing research and developing a strategic outlook towards the development of agriculture in India. It will also involve managing a young team, grooming them and seeing to it that the team grows effectively.

- Research forms a critical part of the role - the candidate should be comfortable with researching and devising strategy for the development of Indian agriculture

- The job will also involve working with the dairy and livestock value-chain system and understanding the economics around the same.

- Assess the major agricultural practices - analyse the food systems in India and learn about their impact on the ecosystem.

- Team management is another critical responsibility - the candidate will be responsible for mentoring and grooming the team.

- Take end to end ownership of the projects and build project proposals and manage the budgets for the same.

- Build relationships with donors and partners and pitch the work done by the organisation to them

- Increase the organisation's footprint in India and ideate and develop effective relationships with multiple government stakeholders.
